  • Hadley - Second Place In Hunter Art Music Vocal Scholarship (Junior)

    Hadley entered the 2025 Hunter Art Music Vocal Scholarships (Junior Section) and placed second. The adjudicator praised her repertoire choices and her ability to navigate the difficult pitch leaps and rhythms in her performance. Congratulations Hadley.

  • Liana - Newcastle Piano Scholarships

    Liana entered the Joyce Blewitt Award for Piano, offered by the MTA NSW Newcastle Branch. While she did not place, she received praise on her performances of Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata and "My Heart Will Go On”, with the adjudicator commenting on her expressive performances. Congratulations Liana.

  • Phoebe - Distinction in Rockschool Grade 8 Vocal Exam

    Phoebe completed her Grade 8 Rockschool Vocals performance certificate in 2025. Phoebe attained the highest possible result, a Distinction, with a total mark of 90/100. The examiner commented on her demonstration of musical maturity and expressive awareness.

  • Hadley - Honours (A) in Grade 4 Musical Theatre Exam

    Hadley completed her Grade 4 Musical Theatre comprehensive exam in 2025. Hadley attained an A (Honours), with the examiner praising her program selection, expressive performance, clear tone and diction.

  • Leon - Credit (B+) in Preliminary Piano Exam

    Leon took his first ever piano exam in 2025, completing a Piano Repertoire exam. He attained a B+ (Credit) for his efforts, with the examiner praising his musicality.

  • Sebastian - Pass (C+) In Grade 5 Piano Exam

    Sebastian took his first AMEB exam in piano, completing his grade 5 piano for leisure repertoire exam in 2025. Sebastian attained a C+ (Pass), with the examiner praising his tempo choices and ability to capture mood.

  • Victoria - First place in Novice Section of the Newcastle Junior Music Festival 2025

    Victoria entered the novice section of the Music Teachers’ Association of NSW’s Junior Music Festival on the piano and won first place in the section with her performance of Allegretto Op. 81 No 4 by James Hook.

  • Hadley - Third Place In Intermediate Section of the Newcastle Junior Music Festival 2025

    Hadley entered the intermediate section of the Music Teachers’ Association of NSW’s Junior Music Festival. She placed third in the section for her vocal performance of “I Have Confidence” from the Sound of Music.

  • David - Honours (A) in Grade 5 Piano Exam

    David completed his grade 5 piano comprehensive exam in 2024. David attained an A (Honours), with the examiner praising his musicality and stylistic understanding.

  • Rachel - Honours (A) In Grade 2 Piano Exam

    Rachel took her Grade 2 Piano For Leisure Exam in 2024. She attained an A (Honours), with the examiner praising her confident preparation, musicality, and understanding of style.

  • Aditi - Honours (A) In Preliminary Piano Exam

    Aditi completed her Preliminary Grade Piano For Leisure Repertoire Exam by video submission in 2024. She achieved an A (Honours), with the examiner praising her fluency and tone.

  • Advaith - Completed P Plate Piano Level 1 Exam

    Advaith completed his P Plate Piano Book 1 Video exam, with the examiner praising his rhythm and co-ordination of the hands.

  • Thomas - Second Place in Novice Section of the Newcastle Junior Music Festival 2024

    Thomas entered the novice section of the Music Teachers’ Association of NSW’s Junior Music Festival on the piano in 2024. He took second place in the section with his performance of Swans on the Lake by Julie Knerr-Hague.

  • Rachel - Third Place in Elementary Section of the Newcastle Junior Music Festival 2024

    Rachel entered the elementary section of the Music Teachers’ Association of NSW’s Junior Music Festival on the piano in 2024. She took third place in the section with her performance of Boogie Woogie Rock by Mike Springer.

  • Victoria - Highly Commended in Elementary Section of the Newcastle Junior Music Festival 2024

    Victoria entered the elementary section of the Music Teachers’ Association of NSW’s Junior Music Festival for voice in 2024. She received a Highly Commended in the section with her performance of Ruby by the Kaiser Chiefs.
